Hair Models

Thank you for your interest in becoming a model for our trainees that are in our Continuing Education Program in our salon. This program consists of serveral stylists who are at different levels of training in our salon. Each trainee is required to perform certain technical haircuts and coloring technique's on models.. Appointments with the trainees always begin with a thorough consultation, and include a technical haircut and finishing style - the same as a regular salon appointment.

We ask you to keep an open mind and remember that this is a learning situation. These appointments are the apprentices' only opportunity to have hands-on training. It is very important you keep your appointment or cancel 48 hours in advance. All Services are given at discounted prices.

These are the requirements for being a model:

Tuesdays - Fees and Appointment Times

• $15.00 Haircut
• $25.00 Shampoo, blow dry & style
• $20.00 - $50.00 Coloring
  (approximately 20-30% of normal salon cost)
• Appointment times available - 10:30 and 1:30

Wednesdays with more advanced students

(due to availability)

• $15.00 Haircut
• $25.00 Shampoo, blow dry & style
• $32.50 - $60.00 Coloring
  (approximately 50% of normal salon cost)
• Appointment times during the week vary

Basic requirements:

• Appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday are 2-3 hours for cuts and 2-4 hours for coloring
• 48 hours notice of cancellation
• Open mind to change haircut
• Gratuities not included
• No children can be brought in during appointment

**Completion of this does not guarantee you will be contacted for an appointment. The students have very strict requirements they must meet for their class and are often booked a month in advance (especially for color). Therefore, it may be a week before you hear a response. All forms are recycled after 3 months. So, if you have not heard from anyone after 3 months you will need to submit another form. **
